As 2018 comes to a close, we want to thank you for your support this year. From opening our new St. Louis plant to supporting the third annual Loads of Love campaign, we couldn’t have done it without your partnership!
United Way of Greater Kansas City teams up with Faultless and Faultless Healthcare Linen to kick off Giving Tuesday with Loads of Love KC. Loads Of Love KC is aiming to raise $20,000 in order to purchase washers, dryers, laundry soap and other materials for several schools in Raytown and Hickman Mills School Districts. The initiative will allow children to discretely bring dirty clothes to school to be cleaned as well as provide tools to life-skills classrooms.
Faultless’ account managers are committed to working with you to determine what your hospital can do to reduce linen usage. Just take a look at how much these three Midwest hospitals have already saved in 2018!
Reduce the Risk of Infection in Your Senior Living Facility
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 1.5 million cases of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) occur in senior living communities each year. That is an average of one infection per year per resident! What’s more: these HAIs are the leading cause of death among residents. You can help prevent infection by reassessing your community’s laundry operations. Faultless Healthcare Linen can help your organization not only prevent HAIs, but also ensure its linens are laundered to hygienically clean standards.
Relocating and Building New Facility Made Way for the Largest Federal Investment Project in the History of St. Louis
Faultless Healthcare Linen opened its new, state-of-the-art, 83,000-square-foot medical laundry plant today. Located at 154 S. Trudeau, this facility replaces the company’s plant at 1615 N. 25th Street, which opened just six years ago.
Why your senior living facility needs a healthcare linen laundry provider:
Big changes are coming that may affect senior living facilities- are you ready? Of course, your senior living facility currently has a laundry system in place, but now more than ever is the time to determine if it really is efficient or if outsourcing is the best option. If you’re managing your organization’s laundry now, you need to prepare for it to become a larger need in the future.
Think Before You Toss1h>
Ninety percent of scrubs, blankets and towels in hospitals don’t reach their useful life, but together we can fix this problem and help the healthcare industry save more than $840 million a year.
If you live/work in St. Louis then you may be aware that that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), one of St. Louis’ largest employers, announced in 2016 that it was staying in the City of St. Louis and building its new headquarters there. Of course, we were thrilled for the city because of the huge economic benefits it brings! Now you’re probably wondering, what does Faultless have to do with the new NGA building?
We are proud to announce that all three of our Missouri healthcare linen-only facilities recently received Gold Awards from the Missouri Water Environment Association (MWEA) for the third year in a row! The gold award recognizes organizations that adhere to strict environmental water regulations and safety guidelines. Our Missouri facilities were nominated by the city pretreatment water coordinators in Kansas City, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri because of our organization’s dedication to safety and water quality. Winning this award was possible because of the Faultless Healthcare Linen team’s high-standard of environmental excellence.
