At Faultless Healthcare Linen, our exposure control system ensures that we take every measure possible to keep our employees safe from exposures associated with handling soiled healthcare linens. We have developed and implemented an Exposure Control Plan that meets and exceeds TJC, CDC and OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910.1030).
Faultless Healthcare Linen has laundry facilities in St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO, and Kansas CIty, KS. We serve many of the leading medical facilities in the midwest.
Unlike most exposure control plans, our policies and procedures at our healthcare linen company were developed using industry specific guidelines. This industry specific approach allows us to focus on circumstances that are unique to processing healthcare laundry which may involve bloodborne pathogens.
As part of our Exposure Control Plan, associates exposed to potentially infectious materials receive new hire training as well as annual training on the recognition and prevention of hazards and the proper handling of soiled healthcare laundry. Employees are also offered Hepatitis B vaccinations at no cost.
